Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician will report to the Pharmacy Manager and be responsible for providing pharmaceutical services to customers.The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid state pharmacy technician license, and a minimum of one year experience in a retail pharmacy setting. Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations, as well as experience with pharmacy software, is preferred.We are looking for someone with a deep commitment to providing excellent customer service and a passion for patient care. This individual must be able to think on their feet, as well as be detail-oriented and able to work independently and as a team. A positive attitude and the drive to go above and beyond for customers is essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and update patient records and profiles as needed.
2. Receive and fill prescriptions in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy.
3. Assist customers with their prescription inquiries and answer questions concerning medications.
4. Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
5. Maintain the pharmacy’s inventory of medications and supplies.
6. Compound and dispense medication in accordance with company policy and procedures.
7. Assist the Pharmacy Manager in the daily operations of the pharmacy.
8. Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
9. Perform administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping, and taking inventory.
10. Stay current with the latest developments in the pharmacy industry.
