  1. Develop and implement comprehensive privacy policies and procedures for the SpeCare and North America region.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant privacy regulations and laws, including HIPAA and GDPR.
  3. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to the organization on privacy matters.
  4. Lead and oversee privacy initiatives and projects, including risk assessments and privacy impact assessments.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address privacy concerns and risks.
  6. Conduct regular privacy training and awareness programs for employees and stakeholders.
  7. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of privacy measures and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in privacy and incorporate them into company policies and practices.
  9. Manage relationships with external privacy partners and regulatory bodies.
  10. Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation related to privacy compliance.
  11. Act as a liaison between the organization and external parties, such as patients, vendors, and government agencies, on privacy matters.
  12. Communicate privacy policies and procedures to stakeholders and ensure understanding and adherence.
  13. Lead the response to privacy incidents and breaches, including conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  14. Collaborate with the legal team to review and negotiate privacy-related contracts and agreements.
  15. Drive innovation and improvement in privacy practices and procedures within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Privacy And Compliance: The Ideal Candidate For The Head Of Privacy, Specare And North America Job At Sanofi Should Possess A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Privacy And Compliance, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Setting. This Will Ensure That They Have A Strong Understanding Of The Industry Regulations And Can Effectively Navigate The Complex Privacy Landscape.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Data Privacy Regulations: The Candidate Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Privacy Regulations And Laws In The Us And Canada, Including But Not Limited To Hipaa, Pipeda, And Gdpr. This Will Enable Them To Develop And Implement Privacy Policies And Procedures That Comply With All Applicable Laws And Regulations.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills: As The Head Of Privacy, Specare And North America, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Privacy Professionals And Overseeing The Privacy Programs Across The Region. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Guide And Motivate Their Team And Ensure The Success Of The Privacy Program.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: The Candidate Must Have Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, To Effectively Communicate Privacy Policies And Procedures To Employees At All Levels Of The Organization. They Should Also Be Able To Build Strong Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Including Senior Management And External Regulatory Bodies.

  • Proven Track Record Of Privacy Program Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Implementing Privacy Programs. This Includes Experience In Conducting Privacy Risk Assessments, Developing And Implementing Privacy Policies And Procedures, And Managing Privacy Incidents And Breaches. This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Effectively Manage Privacy Programs And Ensure Compliance With All Applicable Regulations.
