- Develop and execute regulatory strategies for advertising and promotion activities in the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Provide strong leadership and strategic direction to cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of advertising and promotional campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date on all changes and updates to FDA regulations and guidelines related to advertising and promotion, and communicate potential impacts to the organization.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, legal, and medical affairs to ensure that advertising and promotion materials are accurate, fair, and balanced.
- Serve as the point of contact for all interactions with regulatory authorities regarding advertising and promotion, including submissions, queries, and inspections.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, industry associations, and third-party vendors, to stay informed and influence decision-making.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations of advertising and promotion materials to ensure they comply with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and internal policies.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on regulatory requirements and best practices for advertising and promotion.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Monitor and report on industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Partner with the global regulatory affairs team to align on global advertising and promotion strategies and ensure consistency in messaging and compliance across markets.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and events to stay informed of best practices and to network with key stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop team members to build a strong and knowledgeable regulatory affairs department.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Us Regulatory Requirements: The Director, Us Regulatory Affairs - Advertising And Promotion Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Laws, Regulations, And Guidelines Governing Pharmaceutical Advertising And Promotion In The United States. This Includes Fda Regulations, Phrma Code, And Guidance Documents.
Experience In Pharmaceutical Industry: A Successful Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working In The Pharmaceutical Industry, Preferably In A Regulatory Affairs Role. This Will Ensure A Good Understanding Of The Drug Development Process And The Ability To Apply Regulatory Strategies To Advertising And Promotional Materials.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Director, This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Regulatory Professionals. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Proven Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Set Priorities, And Provide Guidance And Direction To Team Members.
