  1. Conduct research and develop computational models to design and optimize novel proteins for drug discovery.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments to validate computational predictions.
  3. Utilize computational tools and techniques to analyze and interpret data, and provide insights to guide further protein design.
  4. Stay updated with the latest advancements in computational biology and protein design, and incorporate new techniques into the team's workflow.
  5. Generate and maintain accurate documentation of all computational methods and data analysis procedures.
  6. Work closely with experimental scientists to understand project goals, and provide computational support to expedite drug discovery.
  7. Contribute to the development and improvement of software tools and algorithms used for protein design.
  8. Present findings and progress updates to stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and concise manner.
  9. Mentor and train junior team members on computational techniques and tools.
  10. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Computational Biology, Biochemistry, Or A Related Field: A Qualified Computational Scientist For De Novo Protein Design At Sanofi Should Hold A Phd Or Equivalent Degree In A Relevant Scientific Discipline. This Advanced Education Ensures A Deep Understanding Of Protein Structure, Function, And Design Principles.

  • Extensive Experience In Computational Protein Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Computational Methods And Tools For Protein Design, Such As Molecular Dynamics Simulations, Homology Modeling, And Structure-Based Design. They Should Also Have A Track Record Of Successfully Applying These Techniques To Design Novel Proteins.

  • Knowledge Of Protein Engineering And Biopharmaceutical Development: The Computational Scientist Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Protein Engineering Techniques, As Well As The Drug Development Process. This Knowledge Is Crucial For Designing Proteins With Desired Properties For Therapeutic Use.

  • Proficiency In Programming And Data Analysis: A Successful Candidate Should Have Excellent Programming Skills, With Experience In Languages Commonly Used In Computational Biology, Such As Python, R, And C++. They Should Also Be Proficient In Data Analysis And Have Experience With Relevant Software And Databases.
