  1. Oversee the downstream processing operations for the Vaccines division, ensuring timely and efficient production of life-saving vaccines.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize downstream processes and increase overall efficiency and productivity.
  3. Manage a team of downstream processing professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure a high-performing team.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of downstream processes.
  5. Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including FDA and GMP requirements.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
  8. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in downstream processing techniques, and proactively recommend and implement new technologies to improve processes.
  9. Develop and manage budgets for downstream processing activities, working closely with finance and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective operations.
  10. Lead and participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to continuously improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  11. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the downstream processing team.
  12. Represent the Vaccines division in meetings and interactions with external partners and regulatory agencies.
  13. Ensure the safety of employees by promoting and enforcing compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
  14. Act as a role model for company values, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  15. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on downstream processing operations, performance, and any potential risks or issues.

Job Qualifications
