  1. Develop and maintain automation systems to support vaccine production processes.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with automation equipment to minimize production downtime.
  3. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for automation processes.
  5. Monitor and analyze data from automation systems to identify opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements.
  6. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures when working with automation equipment.
  7. Train and mentor other team members on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.
  8. Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies in automation to make recommendations for process improvements.
  9. Work closely with quality control and assurance teams to ensure all products meet regulatory standards.
  10. Maintain accurate documentation and records of all automation processes and procedures.
  11. Participate in validation activities for new automation equipment or changes to current systems.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on automation processes and projects.
  13. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to other departments as needed.
  14. Follow all company policies and procedures related to automation operations.
  15. Attend trainings and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge in automation technology.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Engineering Principles Is Essential For An Automation Technician Working In The Vaccines Industry. A Degree In Mechanical, Electrical, Or Chemical Engineering Would Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Excel In This Role.

  • Experience With Automation Systems: Sanofi Is A Highly Automated Facility, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Automation Systems Such As Plcs, Hmis, Scada, And Dcs. Knowledge Of Programming Languages Such As Ladder Logic And Structured Text Is Also Highly Desired.

  • Knowledge Of Gmp Regulations: As A Manufacturer Of Vaccines, Sanofi Must Adhere To Strict Good Manufacturing Practices (Gmp) Regulations. The Automation Technician Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of These Regulations And The Ability To Implement Them In Their Work.

  • Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: The Production Of Vaccines Is A Complex Process, And The Automation Technician Must Have The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Issues Quickly And Efficiently. They Should Also Be Able To Analyze Data And Identify Areas For Process Improvement.

  • Team Player With Excellent Communication Skills: The Automation Technician Will Work Closely With Other Members Of The Production Team And Must Be A Team Player With Strong Communication Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Colleagues And Work Collaboratively To Achieve Production Goals.
