Job Description

Sandia National Laboratories is looking for an innovative and highly motivated Research and Development (R&D) Radiation Detection Physicist to join our world-class team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop advanced radiation detection solutions to address national security needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics, radiation detection, and laboratory research, and be excited to contribute to solving complex challenges. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the nation’s security, then this position is for you.Qualifications:• PhD in Physics or a related field• 5+ years of experience in radiation detection design and/or development• Experienced in experimental design and data analysis• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE clearance
