Welcome to Sandia National Laboratories, one of the nation's premier research and development facilities focused on national security. We are currently seeking highly motivated and driven undergraduate students to join our team as Technical Interns for the summer, specifically in the field of Cyber Security. As an intern at Sandia, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and challenging environment.   1. Greet and welcome potential interns to Sandia National Laboratories and provide them with information about the organization and its mission.
  2. Review and evaluate applications from undergraduate students for the Technical Intern position in the field of Cyber Security.
  3. Plan and coordinate the internship program, including scheduling, training, and assignments.
  4. Communicate with and provide support to interns throughout their time at Sandia, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  5. Design and develop hands-on projects and tasks for interns to work on, ensuring that they align with the goals and objectives of the internship program.
  6. Monitor and evaluate intern performance, providing feedback and guidance to help them improve their skills and achieve their goals.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and teams within Sandia to provide interns with a well-rounded experience and exposure to different areas of the organization.
  8. Stay informed about developments and trends in the field of Cyber Security to ensure that the internship program remains relevant and up-to-date.
  9. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for interns, promoting diversity and equal opportunity.
  10. Encourage and support interns in their pursuit of further education and career opportunities in national security and cyber security.

Job Qualifications
  • Currently Enrolled In An Undergraduate Degree Program In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Cyber Security.

  • Demonstrated Knowledge Of Cyber Security Principles And Practices, Either Through Coursework Or Previous Experience.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Cyber Threats.
