  1. Design and implement low-voltage electrical systems for Sandia National Laboratories facilities
  2. Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of existing systems to identify potential issues and recommend solutions
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  4. Develop and maintain accurate documentation and drawings of all low-voltage electrical systems
  5. Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of systems

  7. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and trends to continuously improve and innovate low-voltage electrical systems at Sandia National Laboratories

  9. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including management, contractors, and other departments, to ensure smooth operation and timely completion of projects
  10. Actively participate in problem-solving and decision-making processes to address any issues that may arise in the facilities' electrical systems.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Low-Voltage Electrical Engineering, Preferably In A Facilities Or Construction Setting.

  • Proficiency In Designing And Implementing Low-Voltage Systems, Including Fire Alarm, Security, And Lighting Control.

  • Experience With Relevant Codes And Standards, Such As Nfpa 70 (National Electrical Code) And Nfpa 72 (National Fire Alarm And Signaling Code).

  • Strong Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Contractors.
