Sandia National Laboratories is seeking an experienced and talented Electromechanical Technologist to join our dynamic team. We’re looking for someone who excels at problem solving and has a passion for creating innovative solutions. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to work on some of the most cutting-edge projects in the industry.To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate’s degree in electromechanical technology or a related field, and at least five years of related experience. You must also have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, the ability to troubleshoot complex problems, and experience with 3D modeling and CAD software. Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop complex electromechanical systems for cutting-edge projects.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and mechanical problems.
  3. Develop CAD models for new systems and components.
  4. Test and evaluate new systems and components.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  6. Provide technical support to other team members.
  7. Prepare technical reports and presentations.
  8. Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  9. Keep up with industry trends and best practices.
  10. Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies.
