Rehab Technician

The San Juan Regional Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and competent Rehab Technician to join our team. As an integral member of our rehabilitation team, the Rehab Technician plays an essential role in helping our patients recover from illnesses or injuries and improve their quality of life. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and organizing treatment areas, setting up and cleaning equipment, and assisting therapists with patient care. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of the principles of physical therapy, effective organizational and communication skills, and the ability to take direction from the rehabilitation team. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and organize treatment areas for physical therapy sessions.
2. Set up and clean equipment used in physical therapy sessions.
3. Assist therapists with patient care during physical therapy sessions.
4. Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the rehabilitation team.
5. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that patients are comfortable during physical therapy sessions.
6. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
7. Provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process.
8. Act as an advocate for the patient and ensure the highest quality of care is provided.
9. Participate in continuing education and training sessions to stay up to date with the latest developments in physical therapy and rehabilitation.
