Job Description

At San Juan Regional Medical Center, we are searching for an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team. If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for patient care and the technical skills required to perform radiologic procedures, we encourage you to apply. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various imaging exams using ionizing radiation and imaging equipment.The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology and a valid state license. Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is also a must. Responsibilities: -Perform radiologic exams using ionizing radiation and imaging equipment. -Maintain state licensure in radiologic technology. -Provide patient care and safety in a professional manner. -Assist with patient positioning and explain the procedure to the patient. -Develop quality radiographs for radiologist interpretation. -Maintain/calibrate equipment and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. -Maintain patient records, logs, and reports in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. -Follow departmental protocols to ensure efficient workflow. -Perform other duties as assigned.
