
Pediatrics- Licensed Clinical Social Worker
As the Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pediatrics at San Juan Regional Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing psychosocial assessments and interventions to children and families in the hospital setting. We are seeking an individual with a passion for working with children, families and the community. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work, be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New Mexico, and have a minimum of three years of experience in a pediatric setting. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving and team-building skills, as well as a commitment to providing quality care to our patients and families.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out psychosocial assessments and interventions to children and families in the hospital setting.
- Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care for patients and families.
- Develop, implement, and maintain treatment plans with measurable outcomes.
- Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to children and families.
- Utilize evidence-based practice and best practices to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to families in crisis.
- Participate in and contribute to interdisciplinary conferences and meetings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referring professionals, agencies, and community resources.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up to date on the latest trends in social work.
- Maintain patient records in accordance with hospital and state regulations.
