Pediatrics- Licensed Clinical Social Worker

As the Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pediatrics at San Juan Regional Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing psychosocial assessments and interventions to children and families in the hospital setting. We are seeking an individual with a passion for working with children, families and the community. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work, be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New Mexico, and have a minimum of three years of experience in a pediatric setting. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving and team-building skills, as well as a commitment to providing quality care to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out psychosocial assessments and interventions to children and families in the hospital setting.
2. Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care for patients and families.
3. Develop, implement, and maintain treatment plans with measurable outcomes.
4. Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to children and families.
5. Utilize evidence-based practice and best practices to ensure the highest quality of care.
6. Provide crisis intervention and support to families in crisis.
7. Participate in and contribute to interdisciplinary conferences and meetings.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with referring professionals, agencies, and community resources.
9. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up to date on the latest trends in social work.
10. Maintain patient records in accordance with hospital and state regulations.
