
Patient Care Technician
The San Juan Regional Medical Center is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing quality patient care. As a Patient Care Technician, you will be responsible for providing patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other healthcare professional.To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. You should be knowledgeable in basic nursing procedures and be able to safely move and transfer patients. You should also be organized and able to follow instructions.A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as is a valid state certification or certification in progress. Previous experience as a Patient Care Technician or in a related field is preferred. An understanding of medical terminology and experience with medical equipment is also beneficial.The ideal candidate should have a passion for providing excellent patient care and be able to remain calm and professional in demanding situations. Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other healthcare professional.
