Responsibilities:

1. Provide occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with San Juan Regional Medical Center guidelines and standards.
2. Establish and implement treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
3. Educate patients and families on therapeutic treatments and activities.
4. Utilize evidence-based practice to ensure best-practice standards of care.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to meet the needs of the patient.
6. Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with medical center policies.
7. Participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices.
8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
9. Provide guidance and support to other staff in the department.
