AirCare Paramedic

San Juan Regional Medical Center is looking for an experienced AirCare Paramedic to join our team and provide compassionate care to our patients. The qualified applicant will be responsible for providing life-saving medical care and transport to critically ill or injured patients. The ideal candidate will have an EMS background, a strong commitment to excellent patient service, and a positive attitude.The successful AirCare Paramedic will have the following qualifications:• Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of New Mexico• Must have current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications• At least one year of EMS or patient care experience• Ability to work well with a variety of medical professionals• Self-motivated, efficient, and organized• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to quickly assess patient needs and provide appropriate careIf you are an experienced Paramedic who is passionate about providing the highest level of care to our patients, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Provide life-saving medical care and transport to critically ill or injured patients • Assess patient needs and provide appropriate care • Work with a variety of medical professionals • Maintain current certification as a Paramedic in the State of New Mexico • Maintain current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and medical staff • Remain self-motivated, efficient, and organized in a fast-paced environment • Stay up-to-date on current medical protocols and procedures • Record patient medical information accurately and completely • Provide quality customer service to all patients and their families
