Job Description

Salem Health is seeking a dynamic, passionate Physical Therapist to join its dedicated State Street Outpatient team. The ideal candidate will have a strong patient-centered approach and a commitment to providing excellent care. We are looking for a physical therapist who is dedicated to promoting physical health and wellness, and who has a thorough understanding of the principles, practices, assessment and treatment of physical therapy.This position requires a current Oregon Physical Therapy license and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field. An advanced degree in Physical Therapy is preferred. The candidate must also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and the ability to motivate and inspire others. The successful candidate must be organized, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
  3. Educate patients on various physical therapy techniques and exercises to improve physical health.
  4. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and members of the medical team to deliver the best care possible.
  7. Maintain current Oregon Physical Therapy license and any other required certifications.
  8. Foster positive relationships with patients, family members, and other staff members.
  9. Stay abreast of the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices.
  10. Participate in continuing education activities and professional development.
