- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Conduct patient registration process, including collecting necessary information and verifying insurance coverage.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information in electronic medical records system.
- Communicate with patients to gather missing information and address any questions or concerns.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations and referrals.
- Process and collect patient payments and assist with financial counseling as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient referrals.
- Keep abreast of changes in insurance regulations and policies to ensure compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
- Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and insurance companies to resolve billing and insurance issues.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation.
- Participate in training and education to stay updated on registration and insurance verification processes.
- Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Registration Or Patient Access.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Verification Processes.
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills.
