Operations Specialist

Salem Health is looking for an Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem solving and improving the customer experience. You must have a strong understanding of process management and be a creative thinker and implementer. This position requires the successful candidate to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (such as Business, Operations, or Administration), and an understanding of healthcare operations and/or revenue cycle management. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and improve operational efficiency.
2. Analyze and review performance metrics to ensure processes are meeting established goals.
3. Monitor and audit healthcare operations and revenue cycle management for accuracy and compliance.
4. Identify potential areas of improvement and recommend solutions to drive operational excellence.
5. Collaborate with other departments on projects to ensure processes are aligned with company objectives.
6. Provide leadership and training to team members on process improvement initiatives.
7. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) on a regular basis.
8. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and procedures.
9. Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
10. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner and address any issues or concerns.
