Nutritional Services Associate

Salem Health is seeking a highly qualified Nutritional Services Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be a friendly and customer-focused individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service and a commitment to patient satisfaction. This position requires a combination of excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly and effectively to customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role and an in-depth understanding of nutrition and food service. Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent customer service to patients and maintain a positive attitude while doing so.
2. Ensure that all patients receive the highest quality of nutritional care.
3. Prepare and serve meals that meet dietary and nutritional needs of patients.
4. Monitor food quality and safety standards in the kitchen.
5. Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and order additional supplies as needed.
6. Train and supervise staff on food safety and sanitation procedures.
7. Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients.
8. Track patient nutrition intake and progress.
9. Document patient feedback and report any issues or complaints to the supervisor.
10. Stay up-to-date with current nutrition and food service practices.
