
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Salem Health is looking for an experienced and personable Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, a passion to learn, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field. In addition, you should have a current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and a valid license from the state of Oregon. Additionally, you should have a minimum of two years of experience in nuclear medicine technology with experience in SPECT and PET imaging.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures with a focus on accuracy and patient safety.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly operated and maintained.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procedures.
- Assist physicians in the diagnosis of medical conditions.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Maintain current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Maintain a valid license from the state of Oregon.
- Keep up to date with the latest advances in nuclear medicine technology and developments in the field.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
