
Manager, Safety & Emergency Management

- Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures to ensure the protection of patients, employees, and visitors within the healthcare system.
- Oversee emergency management planning, including conducting risk assessments, creating emergency response plans, and coordinating with external agencies.
- Provide leadership and direction to staff in all aspects of safety and emergency management, including training and education.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety and emergency management programs and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all safety and emergency management related inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to safety and emergency management.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards and risks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and organizations to ensure a coordinated response during emergencies.
- Communicate regularly with senior management and other stakeholders to provide updates on safety and emergency management initiatives and any potential risks or concerns.
- Act as a role model and champion for a culture of safety and preparedness throughout the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Safety And Health, Emergency Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Role In Safety And Emergency Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Extensive Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Regulations And Standards Related To Safety And Emergency Management.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Staff On Safety Protocols.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Emergency Response Plans, Conducting Drills And Exercises, And Coordinating With External Agencies During Emergencies.
