Salem Health is looking for an Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Learning (IDEAL) Consultant to join our team. We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual to help our organization foster a culture of inclusion, equity, and learning in our organization and beyond. Our successful candidate will have a deep understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices, with a proven track record of success in developing and delivering successful initiatives. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field• At least 5 years of experience in a related field• Proven track record in developing successful diversity and inclusion initiatives• Knowledge of the principles and practices of equity, diversity, and inclusion• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders• Ability to work with various technology platforms• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively• Willingness to travel when needed
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver diversity and inclusion initiatives that create a culture of inclusion and equity throughout Salem Health • Foster an environment that promotes cultural understanding and respect for diversity • Monitor and track progress of diversity and inclusion initiatives, and provide feedback to leadership on progress • Design and implement educational programs and workshops to promote understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion • Develop tools and resources to support diversity and inclusion initiatives • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure initiatives are aligned with organizational goals • Serve as an advocate for diversity and inclusion within the organization • Conduct research and analysis to identify and assess areas of opportunity for improvement • Participate in initiatives to promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion • Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure best practices for diversity and inclusion are adopted and maintained • Participate in diversity and inclusion events and programs hosted by Salem Health and external organizations
