Job Description

Salem Health is looking for an experienced Imaging Services Manager to lead our Imaging Services team. The Imaging Services Manager is an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, responsible for the coordination of patient care and for ensuring the department runs efficiently and effectively. We’re looking for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills who is passionate about delivering quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a related field and a minimum of two years supervisory or management experience. Knowledge of imaging services operations, Medical Imaging and/or Radiography certifications, and a Bachelor's degree are all preferred but not required. The Imaging Services Manager will be responsible for ensuring that imaging services are provided in an efficient and timely manner for all patients. They will ensure staff remain in compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, while also providing quality patient care and service. The Imaging Services Manager will also work with the larger imaging team to ensure the department remains organized and efficient. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. They must also possess an in-depth understanding of imaging and radiology practices and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all aspects of the Imaging Services department, including staffing, budgeting, and operations.
  2. Ensure that imaging services are provided in an efficient and timely manner for all patients, in compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  3. Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for the Imaging Services department.
  4. Provide quality patient care and service.
  5. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate imaging services staff.
  6. Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
  7. Manage patient scheduling and ensure patient satisfaction.
  8. Ensure that all imaging equipment is functioning properly and is in compliance with safety standards.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  10. Maintain records and documentation in accordance with professional standards and regulations.
