CNA - Pediatrics

Salem Health is seeking an experienced and passionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Pediatrics team and provide exceptional care to our pediatric patients. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has strong interpersonal and communication skills. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNA and be certified through the Oregon State Board of Nursing. A valid Oregon CNA license is required.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients in accordance with Salem Health standards.
2. Work collaboratively with other members of the Pediatrics team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
4. Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with patients and families.
5. Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare team.
6. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
7. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
8. Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
9. Provide emotional support and comfort to pediatric patients and their families.
10. Maintain current certification as a CNA through the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
