Job Description

Salem Health is currently seeking a talented and passionate Clinical Nurse for our Medical Surgical Oncology Unit. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced RN to join a progressive, forward thinking team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate must possess excellent clinical skills, along with a commitment to providing patient-centered care in a collaborative environment. If you have a passion for providing quality care and developing meaningful relationships with patients and their families, we want to hear from you!The ideal candidate for this role must hold a valid nursing license in the state of Oregon, have at least two years of experience in an acute care setting, and demonstrate a commitment to continued learning. An Oncology certification is highly desirable. In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct patient care to patients in the Medical Surgical Oncology Unit.
  2. Develop meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
  3. Utilize excellent clinical skills in order to provide quality patient care.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in order to provide patient-centered care.
  5. Possess a valid nursing license in the state of Oregon.
  6. Have at least two years of experience in an acute care setting.
  7. Demonstrate a commitment to continued learning.
  8. Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  9. Manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
  10. Possess an Oncology certification (highly desirable).
