Clinical Nurse Medical Surgical Oncology

Salem Health is currently seeking a talented and passionate Clinical Nurse for our Medical Surgical Oncology Unit. An Oncology certification is highly desirable. In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care to patients in the Medical Surgical Oncology Unit.
2. Develop meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
3. Utilize excellent clinical skills in order to provide quality patient care.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in order to provide patient-centered care.
5. Possess a valid nursing license in the state of Oregon.
6. Have at least two years of experience in an acute care setting.
7. Demonstrate a commitment to continued learning.
8. Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
9. Manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
10. Possess an Oncology certification (highly desirable).
