Graduation From An Accredited Nurse Midwifery Program: Candidates For A Certified Nurse Midwife Job At Salem Health Must Have Completed A Graduate Degree In Nurse Midwifery From An Accredited Institution.
Active Nurse Midwifery License In The State Of Oregon: Candidates Must Hold A Current And Valid Nurse Midwifery License In The State Of Oregon, Or Be Able To Obtain One Before Beginning Employment.
Experience In Pregnancy, Childbirth, And Postpartum Care: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience Providing Comprehensive Care To Women Throughout The Pregnancy, Childbirth, And Postpartum Periods.
Certification By The American Midwifery Certification Board (Amcb): Candidates Must Be Certified By The Amcb As A Certified Nurse Midwife, Or Be Able To Obtain Certification Within Six Months Of Employment.
