  1. Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
  3. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service history in accordance with regulatory standards.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment is properly integrated and functioning correctly.
  5. Stay up-to-date with advancements in biomedical technology and procedures, and make recommendations for equipment upgrades and improvements.
  6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for both patients and staff.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external vendors to coordinate repairs and services.
  8. Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
  9. Conduct in-service training for hospital staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  10. Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for urgent equipment issues.
  11. Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude when interacting with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory standards.
  13. Continuously monitor equipment performance and take proactive measures to prevent potential issues.
  14. Assist with budget planning and procurement processes for new equipment and supplies.
  15. Act as a resource for other team members and provide guidance and support as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Biomedical Technology Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Environment.

  • Certification From The Association For The Advancement Of Medical Instrumentation (Aami) Or Other Relevant Industry Organization.

  • Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Repairing Medical Equipment, Including Diagnostic Imaging, Patient Monitoring, And Life Support Systems.

  • Strong Understanding Of Medical Equipment Safety Standards And Regulations, Such As Fda And Joint Commission Requirements.
