- Assist surgical team during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are prepared and available for use.
- Maintain a sterile and organized surgical environment, following strict infection control protocols.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide prompt and efficient assistance during procedures.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and communicate any changes to the surgical team.
- Handle and care for surgical specimens with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow proper handling, storage, and disposal procedures for surgical instruments and supplies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.

- Continuously update knowledge and skills related to surgical technology, including new procedures and techniques.

Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Surgical Technology Or A Related Field.
Certification As A Surgical Technologist (Cst) Through The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa).
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Surgical Technologist In A Cardiovascular Surgery Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Cardiovascular Anatomy, Surgical Procedures, And Equipment.
Ability To Anticipate The Needs Of The Surgeon And Assist With Complex And High-Risk Procedures.
