  1. Prepare and maintain sterile supplies and equipment for Endoscopy procedures.
  2. Assist physicians and nurses during Endoscopy procedures by passing instruments and providing other necessary items.
  3. Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
  4. Communicate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
  5. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
  6. Handle and dispose of contaminated items and waste according to established guidelines.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and supplies used.
  8. Participate in departmental meetings and trainings to stay up-to-date on best practices and procedures.
  9. Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient and staff safety.
  11. Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and supplies.
  12. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during procedures.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations.
  14. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance patient care.
  15. Attend to any other duties assigned by the Endoscopy team leader or manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Valid Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Certification From An Accredited Institution.

  • Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As A Scrub Technician In An Endoscopy Setting Is Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Endoscopy Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Endoscopy Procedures, Instruments, And Equipment, As Well As Familiarity With Infection Control Protocols.

  • Teamwork And Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Teamwork Skills And Be Able To Communicate Effectively With The Surgical Team, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Scrub Technician, Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Maintaining Sterile And Safe Conditions In The Operating Room. The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Anticipate The Needs Of The Surgical Team.
