- Respond to patient and guest meal requests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Understand and adhere to dietary restrictions and special requests for patient meals.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals.
- Maintain accurate records of patient meal orders and ensure all meals are delivered according to schedule.
- Handle any complaints or concerns from patients or guests and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow proper sanitation and safety protocols when handling food and interacting with patients.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of meals to patients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a positive and professional image.
- Act as a liaison between patients, guests, and the food and nutrition department to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Assist in training and mentoring new call center representatives.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall patient dining experience.
- Stay up-to-date with hospital policies and procedures related to food and nutrition services.
- Attend meetings and participate in training sessions as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
