
Respiratory Therapist - (PRN)

We are currently seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (PRN) to join our team. As an essential part of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic and diagnostic services in the areas of assessment, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and follow-up of patients with respiratory disorders.The ideal candidate for this position is an individual who is highly motivated, compassionate, and organized, with a desire to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You should also possess the following qualifications: • A current Respiratory Care Practitioner license from any state in the US• At least two years of experience in a healthcare setting• Knowledge of cardiopulmonary physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and medical gas therapy• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work variable shifts If you are looking to join an organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and have the right qualifications, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic and diagnostic services in the areas of assessment, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and follow-up of patients with respiratory disorders.
- Develop and implement individual patient treatment plans, as well as modify existing plans.
- Monitor patient progress and assess the need for changes in treatment plans.
- Document patient histories and treatments, as well as any other relevant information.
- Maintain and develop working knowledge of current respiratory care techniques and therapies.
- Educate patients and families on proper respiratory care techniques and treatments.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care is delivered in a timely and effective manner.
- Participate in continuing education and other professional development activities.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare staff.
