- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to cardiac patients in various units within the Saint Francis Health System.
- Adhere to all internal policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, administer medications and treatments, and document patient progress.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques to promote optimal health and recovery.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including medication administration and other nursing interventions.

Current Rn License: The First And Most Important Qualification For A Registered Nurse (Internal Traveler) - Cardiac At Saint Francis Health System Is A Valid And Current Rn License. This Demonstrates That The Individual Has Completed The Necessary Education And Training To Provide Safe And Effective Care To Patients.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Cardiac Nursing Experience: Saint Francis Health System Requires A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Cardiac Nursing For This Position. This Ensures That The Nurse Is Well-Versed In The Unique Needs And Challenges Of Caring For Patients With Cardiac Conditions.
Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Essential For A Cardiac Nurse At Saint Francis Health System. These Certifications Demonstrate That The Nurse Has The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Respond To Emergency Situations And Provide Life-Saving Interventions.
Experience With Various Cardiac Procedures And Technologies: As An Internal Traveler, The Nurse Will Be Expected To Work In Different Departments And Facilities Within The Saint Francis Health System. Therefore, Experience With A Variety Of Cardiac Procedures And Technologies, Such As Cardiac Catheterization, Pacemakers, And Defibrillators, Is Highly Desirable.
