
Phlebotomist
At Saint Francis Health System, we are looking to hire a reliable and experienced Phlebotomist who is passionate about providing quality patient care. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing, transfusions, donations, or research. You should be detail-oriented and have excellent communication and organizational skills. To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid certification from a recognized phlebotomy training program. You should have a minimum of one year of experience working as a Phlebotomist in a health care setting and be knowledgeable of safety protocols and procedures. Additionally, you must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work collaboratively with other members of the health care team. We look forward to hearing from you!
Responsibilities:
-Draw blood samples from patients for laboratory testing, transfusions, donations, or research -Ensure accurate labeling and collection of specimens -Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures -Maintain a clean and safe work area -Provide excellent customer service to patients -Maintain accurate patient records -Process specimens using laboratory equipment -Perform quality control tests to ensure accuracy of results -Collaborate with other members of the health care team -Comply with all state and federal laws and regulations -Perform additional duties as assigned
