Phlebotomist

At Saint Francis Health System, we are looking to hire a reliable and experienced Phlebotomist who is passionate about providing quality patient care. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing, transfusions, donations, or research. You should be detail-oriented and have excellent communication and organizational skills. To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid certification from a recognized phlebotomy training program. You should have a minimum of one year of experience working as a Phlebotomist in a health care setting and be knowledgeable of safety protocols and procedures. -Draw blood samples from patients for laboratory testing, transfusions, donations, or research -Ensure accurate labeling and collection of specimens -Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures -Maintain a clean and safe work area -Provide excellent customer service to patients -Maintain accurate patient records -Process specimens using laboratory equipment -Perform quality control tests to ensure accuracy of results -Collaborate with other members of the health care team -Comply with all state and federal laws and regulations -Perform additional duties as assigned
