  1. Coordinate and optimize care for pediatric patients by working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

  9. Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and organizations to enhance care for pediatric patients.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve the care provided to pediatric patients.
  11. Serve as a mentor to other healthcare team members, providing guidance and support in pediatric care.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards of practice.
  13. Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of pediatric care interventions and make necessary adjustments.
  14. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
  15. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, treatments, and progress.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For This Role. This Will Ensure A Strong Foundation In Nursing Knowledge And Skills Necessary For Providing Quality Care To Pediatric Patients.

  • Pediatric Nursing Certification: A Certification In Pediatric Nursing Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Will Demonstrate Specialized Knowledge And Expertise In Caring For Children And Adolescents.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Nursing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3 Years Of Experience In A Pediatric Setting, Preferably In A Leadership Or Coordination Role. This Will Ensure A Strong Understanding Of The Unique Needs And Challenges Of Pediatric Patients.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills: As A Pediatric Care Nurse Coordinator, Strong Communication And Organizational Skills Are Essential. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members, As Well As Manage Multiple Tasks And Responsibilities.

  • Knowledge Of Pediatric Care Guidelines And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Pediatric Care Guidelines And Regulations, Including Those Set By The American Academy Of Pediatrics And The Joint Commission. This Will Ensure Compliance With Standards And The Delivery Of High-Quality Care To Pediatric Patients.
