1. Transport patients to and from various locations within the facility, including but not limited to, patient rooms, diagnostic and treatment areas, and surgical suites.
2. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during transport by following proper techniques and protocols.
3. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare staff to provide a positive and compassionate experience.
4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient transport activities.
5. Monitor and report any changes or concerns in patient condition to appropriate healthcare staff.
6. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including patient transport equipment.
8. Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor or healthcare staff.
