2. Provide outstanding customer service by answering phone calls, responding to emails, and addressing patient inquiries both in person and virtually.
3. Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
4. Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary payments.
5. Accurately enter and maintain patient information and medical records in the electronic database.
6. Assist patients with filling out necessary forms and obtaining required authorizations.
7. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and waiting room.
8. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other team members to ensure excellent patient care.
9. Participate in training and development opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry and organizational standards.
10. Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures to protect patient information.
11. Handle patient complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating as needed.
