  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated patient care in the behavioral health unit.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans.
  3. Monitor and assess patient behaviors, progress, and response to treatment interventions.
  4. Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  5. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and individualized patient care.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  8. Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
  9. Provide support and guidance to patients and their families during their treatment.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills in behavioral health.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality.
  12. Serve as a role model for junior staff members and positively contribute to the team dynamic.
  13. Advocate for patients' needs and rights, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.
  14. Monitor and maintain a clean and organized patient care environment.
  15. Serve as a resource for patients and families, providing education and guidance regarding their treatment and recovery.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Behavioral Health Setting, Preferably With A Focus On Senior Care.

  • Associate's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field, With Current Licensure As A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Licensed Practical Nurse (Lpn).

  • Strong Knowledge Of And Experience With Geriatric Mental Health Disorders, Including Dementia, Depression, And Anxiety.

  • Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Team Members, Including Physicians, Nurses, Social Workers, And Therapists.

  • Proven Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment, While Maintaining A High Level Of Compassion And Empathy For Patients.
