Medical Social Worker

The Medical Social Worker will be responsible for providing comprehensive social work services to patients and their families to ensure that all of their needs are met. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with patients and their families. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, as well as a valid Social Work License in the state of Oklahoma. The ideal candidate must also have experience working in a healthcare setting and be familiar with medical terminology. Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive social work services to patients and their families to ensure that all of their needs are met.
2. Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients and their families.
3. Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
4. Ensure all medical and social work services are provided in accordance with state and federal regulations.
5. Maintain patient records and other documents related to patient care.
6. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
7. Identify and refer patients to appropriate community resources.
8. Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
9. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
10. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
