Medical Assistant - Oncology

Responsibilities:

1. Provide clinical and administrative support to the oncology team
2. Maintain patient records and perform other clerical duties as needed
3. Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
4. Assist with patient check-ins and check-outs
5. Prepare patient rooms for exams and treatments
6. Assist with procedures and treatments in accordance with the physician’s orders
7. Collect and record vital signs, document patient medical histories, and assist with lab work
8. Prepare and administer medications and injections
9. Provide patient education on medications and treatments
10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment
11. Follow all safety protocols and HIPAA regulations
12. Participate in team meetings and training programs
