- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability of the gift shop.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and timely re-ordering of products.
- Train and supervise staff members, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Create visually appealing displays and merchandising techniques to attract and engage customers.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing and resolving any issues or complaints.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make informed decisions regarding product selection and pricing.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and events to drive traffic to the gift shop.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Manage the gift shop budget and monitor expenses to achieve financial goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competition to make recommendations for improvement and growth.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment for the gift shop team.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance the customer experience and maintain a high level of satisfaction.
- Represent the gift shop and Saint Francis Health System in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Retail Management Experience, Preferably In A Gift Shop Or Similar Setting.
Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage A Team Effectively.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With A Diverse Group Of Customers, Employees, And Vendors.
Knowledge Of Retail Operations, Including Inventory Management, Purchasing, And Merchandising.
Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Requirements, As Well As Experience Working In A Healthcare Environment.
