  1. Oversee and manage the biomedical services department, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all medical equipment within the organization.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of medical equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Create and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all medical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality.
  4. Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as clinical engineering and IT, to ensure seamless integration of medical equipment with hospital systems.
  6. Manage the department budget and allocate resources effectively to meet department goals and objectives.
  7. Recruit, train, and supervise a team of biomedical technicians and engineers to ensure high-quality work and efficient operations.
  8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the department to enhance patient care and safety.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in biomedical technology to make informed decisions on equipment purchases and upgrades.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  11. Serve as a liaison between the biomedical services department and other departments within the organization to address any equipment-related issues or concerns.
  12. Act as a resource for healthcare staff, providing technical support and training on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  13. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to promote professional growth and development.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among all team members.
  15. Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, including those related to safety, confidentiality, and quality assurance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Biomedical Services In A Healthcare Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Biomedical Equipment And Technology, Including Troubleshooting And Maintenance

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team Effectively

  • Familiarity With Regulatory Requirements And Compliance Standards For Biomedical Equipment And Services.
