  1. Coordinate and oversee the credentialing process for healthcare providers at Saint Francis Health System.
  2. Ensure that all providers are properly credentialed and privileged according to organizational and regulatory standards.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider information in credentialing databases and systems.
  4. Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurance companies, and regulatory agencies.
  5. Conduct thorough background checks and verify credentials, education, training, and licensure of healthcare providers.
  6. Review and analyze credentialing applications and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
  7. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to credentialing processes.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to ensure timely completion of credentialing requirements.
  9. Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to credentialing and ensure compliance.
  10. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  12. Coordinate and assist with audits and other quality improvement activities related to credentialing.
  13. Train and mentor new team members as needed.
  14. Maintain accurate and organized records of all credentialing activities.
  15. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless onboarding and privileging of new providers.
  16. Support the mission, vision, and values of Saint Francis Health System.
  17. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  18. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Credentialing And Privileging Processes, Preferably In A Corporate Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Regulatory Requirements Related To Credentialing And Privileging.

  • Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Multi-Task In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Various Stakeholders, Including Physicians, Providers, And Administrative Staff.
