- Provide emotional support and promote well-being for pediatric patients and their families.
- Work closely with Child Life Specialists to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in the hospital.

- Ensure the safety and well-being of children in the hospital by following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and interactions with children and their families.
- Stay updated on current trends and research in child life and apply knowledge to enhance the quality of care provided to pediatric patients.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with a diverse group of patients and their families.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings, training, and other professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of care and safety for patients.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and their families.
- Foster a sense of normalcy and play for children in the hospital by providing opportunities for socialization and self-expression.
Bachelor's Degree In Child Life, Child Development, Or A Related Field
Previous Experience Working With Children In A Healthcare Or Educational Setting
Certification As A Child Life Specialist, Or Willingness To Obtain Certification Within 6 Months Of Hire
Knowledge Of Child Development, Coping Mechanisms, And Play Therapy Techniques
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team And Provide Emotional Support To Families.
