- Develop and maintain terminal instrument procedures for SAIC's clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to understand their specific needs and requirements, and provide tailored solutions to meet their unique challenges.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to stay current on industry developments, advancements, and best practices in terminal instrument procedures.
- Utilize advanced software and tools, such as GIS and CAD, to design and draft instrument flight procedures.
- Perform quality checks on all procedures to ensure they meet strict accuracy and precision standards.
- Communicate and coordinate with air traffic controllers, pilots, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and input on procedures.
- Provide technical support and assistance to colleagues and project teams, serving as a subject matter expert in terminal instrument procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within SAIC to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior team members on terminal instrument procedure development and maintenance.
- Represent SAIC at industry conferences and events to showcase our expertise and capabilities in terminal instrument procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Aviation Management, Air Traffic Control, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Terminal Instrument Procedures Development And Maintenance.
Proficiency In Using Faa-Approved Software For Designing And Validating Instrument Procedures, Such As Terps And Pans-Ops.
Knowledge Of Faa Regulations And Guidelines For Instrument Procedures, Including Terps Criteria, Airspace Design, And Obstacle Clearance.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Team And Present Technical Information To Stakeholders.
