- Develop and implement subcontracting strategies to support project objectives and goals.
- Manage the full lifecycle of subcontracting activities, including solicitation, negotiation, award, and administration.
- Conduct market research and identify potential subcontractors/vendors to support project needs.
- Review and evaluate subcontract proposals for compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with subcontractors to ensure favorable pricing and terms for the company.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with subcontracting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date subcontract files and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations and procurement policies.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on subcontracting and procurement processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
- Participate in proposal development and pricing activities related to subcontracting.
- Conduct subcontract audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Train and mentor junior members of the procurement team.
Bachelor’s Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Subcontract And Procurement Management, Preferably In The Government Contracting Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal Acquisition Regulations (Far) And Government Procurement Processes.
Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Internal And External Stakeholders.
Experience In Managing And Overseeing A Team Of Subcontract And Procurement Specialists.
