Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Space Systems Engineering: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In The Design, Development, And Testing Of Space Systems, With A Deep Understanding Of Spacecraft Subsystems And Their Integration.

  • Strong Technical Expertise: The Candidate Should Possess A Strong Technical Background In Areas Such As Space Systems Architecture, Orbital Mechanics, Propulsion, Guidance And Navigation, And Mission Operations.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: Saic Is Looking For A Candidate Who Can Lead And Manage Large-Scale Space Projects, Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams And Ensuring Successful Project Execution Within Budget And Timeline Constraints.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations: The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Latest Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Space Systems Engineering, Such As Mil-Std-1540 And Nasa-Std-8719.14.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Principal In Saic's Space Systems Engineering Team, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Communicate Effectively With Clients, Stakeholders, And Team Members, And Foster A Collaborative Work Environment To Deliver Innovative Solutions.
