- Manage and negotiate contracts on behalf of the organization.
- Ensure that all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and review contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and make recommendations for mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contract compliance and timely execution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective contract negotiations.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract matters.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the contract management process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in laws and regulations related to contracts.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed contract records and reports.
- Participate in contract audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Train and mentor junior contracts staff.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and legal counsel on contract matters.
- Communicate contract updates and changes to relevant parties.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or disputes related to contracts.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Contract Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Contract Management Or Procurement, Preferably In A Government Contracting Environment.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal Acquisition Regulations (Far) And Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (Dfars).
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Assess Complex Contractual Issues And Provide Strategic Recommendations.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Both Internal And External Stakeholders.
