- Design and develop automated security solutions to protect critical infrastructure and data.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and analyze security automation requirements.
- Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in security automation.
- Use scripting and coding languages to create efficient and effective security automation tools.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and implement appropriate security controls.
- Monitor and analyze security events and conduct incident response when necessary.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security automation processes and procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security automation into existing systems.
- Continuously assess and improve security automation processes for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging security threats and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Train and educate team members on security automation tools and processes.
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on security automation projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure security automation solutions meet industry standards.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to security and data protection.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to security incidents as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Security Automation And Engineering.
Strong Knowledge Of Various Security Tools And Technologies, Such As Siem, Ids/Ips, Vulnerability Management, And Penetration Testing.
Experience With Scripting Languages, Such As Python, Powershell, Or Bash, For Automating Security Tasks.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Nist, Iso, And Pci, And Ability To Implement And Maintain Compliance Within Security Automation Processes.
