Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at SAIC. The successful candidate will be responsible for our software and hardware development quality assurance, including test planning, execution, and reporting. You should have a passion for software and hardware development, and a commitment to quality assurance best practices.The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and experience in software and hardware development processes. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and an analytical mindset. You should also be able to work collaboratively and autonomously.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and at least five years' experience in a quality assurance role. Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium and Cucumber is also highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software and hardware development projects.
2. Execute tests, monitor results, and document test results.
3. Analyze test results and troubleshoot issues.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that software and hardware meet quality standards.
5. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve quality assurance processes.
6. Review requirements and design documents to ensure testability.
7. Develop and maintain automated tests using tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
8. Monitor software and hardware performance in production and recommend changes to improve quality.
9. Document and communicate test results and progress to stakeholders.
10. Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in software and hardware quality assurance.
